Tic Tac Toe Challenge

I did this Bloggers Challenge literally.  I used the August Club Stamp project for ATC's and I made 9 atcs for the sections each using one of the tic tac toe squares.  I used a number of different stamps and embossing folder and dudads and such.  I was enthralled by the project and new it would be a keeper.  I just needed to make new atcs for it to hang this in my room.

Baby Wipes Embrace

This challenge is for the Gingersnap Creations Spicy Supply Challenge.  I took a baby wipe, and painted it with 2 different distress crackle paint from Ranger and then cut it out with a Sissix frame die.  The basket is from Heartfelt Creations new die.  The sunflowers were from Stamping Up and put it on a piece of vellum I found in my stash and onto dark green cardstock.  A little glitter in the center of the sunflowers and a card.  I have to say it needs something.

Friends, Tribute to Teens

This is the card I made for the Gingersnap Creations Random Redhead challenge for Tribute to Teens.  The modern day communications.  Talk to the phone.  I used a clubscrap paper for background and stamped whatever on it from a old Stamping up set and the darker green was a ordinary piece of cardstock punched the edge with a fiskars edger, used some Club Scrap ribbon. The phone and the MP3 player were from the Cricut.  The girls were cut from a Sissix die and colored with copics.  The Friends are a dudad  that came in the Just Dandy Club Scrap.   My grandaughter took dibs on this card to give to a friend.   http://gingersnapcreations.blogspot.com/

Forever

I go searching thru blogs and find these challenges that look like fun to me.  I used a tan piece of cardstock and layered with burlap and then the brown, orange yellow and maroon were from some club stamp paper pops.  I dry embossed the strips of paper with a cuddle bug edge embossing folder set, the label was a sissix lable and the flower is a Boutique Fleur Mulberry paper from Recollections that I recieved for Christmas last year.  I distressed the lable with distress ink aged mahogany.  I think this will work for this challenge at    .http://www.twistedsketches.org/2011/08/twisted-cards-71.html

Think and Wonder

Back to School Bloggers Challenge.  ArtChix Childhood Innocence stamp photo, Think and Wonder Artistic Outpost.  Mustard cardstock, Green cardstock punched using Fiskars edge and corner punch and a do dad from Michaels.  Background of the picture is from Technique Junkie last issue circle punches.

Alice in Roses

I have been saving these cut outs for a time when I had some time.  I had a shadow box and had some fun with this.  It is hard to see it with the picture but I hope you enjoy it.  The Roses were painted with Creative Inspirations paint.  I saw that the Altered Alice theme was with roses.  I hope it works for this challenge

Forever

I used a Sizzlet die for the turquoise, a edge cutter for the yellow edge, and the stamp is a Stampland Stamp for the little girl.  I followed the Creative Inspirations challenge, the Stampsmith Color Challenge, Teal and Yellow and I also feel it fits with the Gingerbread Babes and Tots  .http://gingersnapcreations.blogspot.com/ http://creativeinspirationspaint.blogspot.com/ http://thestampsmithchallenge.blogspot.com/

I used Tim Holtz stain daubers to color the background.  I used the ODB Faithfulness stamps and a small Asian stamps. Cut the butterflies with some Cherrylynn dies and placed them on reflective Mica. I painted the butterflies with Creative Inspirations and also the little Asian girl.  http://ourdailybreaddesignsblog.blogspot.com/ http://gingersnapcreations.blogspot.com/2011/07/gc112-color-challenge-leather-iron-and.html
