Glorius Green

This was so fun. I got the  CheeryLynn die cut last week and really loved the door, but what to do with it.  Well, I cut it and the saw the Technique Junkie technique, framed embossing, and thought a city scape cuttlebug small folder would do the trick. I cut it out and highlighted it with iced spruce distress ink, and colored the heart in red with a Copic pen.   I found the green paper from Club Scrap that had flowers, branches and trees, and used another Cuttlebug folder , birds and swirls and embossed and stuck the door on.  I appears to me the window of the door is looking at the city and the greenery outside.  The stamped Life Begins was a Club Scrap Stamp.  The doorknob is a black brad.  Though this would work for the green card challenge  at Gingersnap .

Rain Dance

This paper came this month from Club Scrap.  I fell in love with it as soon as I took it out of the box.  I love these colors together.  I thought this would work well for the Gingersnap Challenge with favorite papers.  The die cut is a sissix and the stamp is from I brake for stamps.  I thought it matched the paper detail.  The 3 dudads in the corner were beads and I thought it made a fininshed look.  Hope you like  it.                   http://gingersnapcreations.blogspot.com/2012/01/gc135-random-redhead-challenge-use-your.html

Bookmark with Ribbon,

Oh as usual I am doing this at the last minute for the GingersnapCreations Ribbon Challenge.  I got a new Doily Die from Cheery Lynn Designs and I love the piercing on it.  The ribbon slid perfectly in holes.  I used the RRH Stamps and Voila it was complete.  You can always use a new bookmark.  I love the little girl reading.  She is so cute.  I colored her with copic markers. Hope you enjoy it !  http://www.inlinkz.com/gotoIndexWithMessage.php?id=6&page=http://gingersnapcreations.blogspot.com/2012/01/gc134-spicy-supply-challenge-ribbon.html

Soft Yellow and White

This card is a BD card for my grandaughter who will be 17.  I thought I would get in at the last minute for the Gingersnap yellow and white challenge.  I used the Rogue Redhead Designs Love Your Style stamps which I really love.  I used a Spellbinder die window from ODB and stamped the design on acrylic.  Then used the Jazz-Age from a Artistic Outpost with the flappers.  I haven't made a card or anything since October 2011. Hope you like it

The Raven,

I used alcohol ink and then I sanded it down.  I used some distress ink to darken it and stamped the bird cages and birds on the line from Artistic Outpost.  The Big Black Bird stamp from some Fiskars clear stamps.  I embossed the bird to make it stand out.  Had fun today once I got in my room to play.  Now it is night and I don't want to go to bed.  Darn, I wish I could play forever.  http://gingersnapcreations.blogspot.com/

Live the Life That You Imagined

I made a oval tag just because it is part of my supplies.   I used the Tim Holtz Visual Artisty clear stamps from Stampers Anonymous.  I used 2 pieces of Tim's fragments and a bunch of different colored fibers to hand and also a key I found on my desk.  It didn't quite turn out like I wanted but it grew on me.  Hope you like it.      http://gingersnapcreations.blogspot.com/

Fall

Fun simple card.  The hardest part was finding the crimpers.  I didn't find the one I was looking for but did find this one in my grandaughter's art stash.  I used a rust color piece of cardstock for the base and took a kraft color paper as a mat on a white piece of cardstock crimped after stamping with the background stamp from Rogue Redhead Designs Beach Baby set.  The oak leaves are from a Tim Holtz die cut using the DCWV Natural mat stack paper.  Took a piece of raffia and a maple brad.
